Harris Bond
Harris Bond, a native of Yazoo City, MS, has been involved in pastoral ministry for 17 years. He is a graduate of Auburn University and Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC (M.Div.). While serving as the Assistant Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Belzoni, MS, he met Laura Beth Shields, a graduate of Delta State University who was then living & working in the Jackson area. They married in 2008 and spent nearly eleven years in Sylacauga, AL where Harris served as the Pastor of Knollwood Presbyterian Church. Harris and Laura Beth, along with their three children—Thomas, Sam, and Jane Paschal—moved to Monroe in the summer of 2019 to begin living and doing the work of “scratch” planting (no prior interest group). Harris enjoys running, reading, live music, and sharing a table with good friends old and new.
